★★★★★ 5.0 on Google · Fully insuredFabric protection in Bedford.
Put on straight after a clean, while the fibres are fresh. Spills sit on top for longer, so you have time to blot them up before they soak in.
- Applied on the same visit as the clean
- Water based, safe once dry
- Carpets, rugs and fabric sofas

It buys you time.
It doesn't make it stain proof.
A protector coats each fibre, so a spill sits on the surface for a while instead of soaking straight in.
Anyone promising stain proof is overselling it. What it gives you is a few extra minutes to blot a spill before it sets, and dry dirt lets go more easily when you vacuum.
It works best on a clean carpet, which is why I put it on at the end of a clean.
Three steps,
same visit
It wears off over time. Footfall and vacuuming slowly take it off, so busy areas are worth topping up when they are next cleaned.
What it helps with, and what it doesn't
Better you know this before you pay for it.
Where it earns its keep
- Light coloured carpets and sofas
- Homes with young children or pets
- Sofas and dining chairs that see food and drink
- Halls and stairs that take the most dirt
- Rugs in busy rooms
What it won't do
- Make anything stain proof. It slows a spill down, it doesn't stop it
- Stop a spill that is left to soak in for hours
- Last forever. Busy areas wear it off and need a top up
Reviews from Bedford homes
Here is what customers said after a clean.
★★★★★"Mantas from Purge Bright came this morning to clean my upholstered settee. He arrived on time, bringing everything he needed with him. He worked quickly and did a great job, cleaning and Scotchguarding the settee."

★★★★★"Very professional, respectful and reasonably priced. Carpets are clean and smell lovely. Would recommend!"

The things people ask first
It depends on the size of the area. I price it together with the clean, so you get one figure for the whole job before I start.
It's best done straight after a clean. Protector put over dirt seals the dirt in, so if something hasn't just been cleaned, I'll clean it first.
Once it's dry, yes. It's water based, and you can use the room as normal as soon as the carpet or sofa has dried.
It depends on how much use the area gets. A spare room keeps it far longer than a hallway. Footfall and vacuuming slowly wear it away, so busy areas are worth topping up when they are next cleaned.
No. Once it's dry you shouldn't be able to see it or feel it.
Anything else needing done?
Most people get more than one thing cleaned in the same visit. It saves you a second appointment.
