Do you take the rugs away?
We typically clean rugs on-site in your home to keep costs low and convenience high. We just need a hard floor area (like a kitchen) or a patio to perform the clean safely.
Can you clean fringes?
Yes. Fringes (tassels) require special attention. We treat them with a specific fringe cleaner to brighten them without using harsh bleaches that cause rot.
Will the colours run?
Dye bleed is a risk with some expensive oriental rugs. That is why we perform a colour-fastness test before we add any water. If the dye is unstable, we use a specialized low-moisture method.
Can you clean Sisal or Seagrass?
Natural plant fibres like Sisal cannot be wet cleaned as they will shrink and stain. We offer a "Dry Compound" cleaning service specifically for these rug types.
