Welcome to Purge Bright. By booking our services (via phone, email, website, or social media), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Bookings & Cancellations
- Appointments: All bookings are subject to availability. We will provide an estimated arrival window (e.g., 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM).
- Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a charge of 50% of the quoted price or our minimum call-out fee (£60), whichever is lower.
- Access: If we arrive at the property and cannot gain access, the minimum call-out fee will apply.
2. Payments
- When to Pay: Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless a commercial credit agreement has been arranged in advance.
- Methods: We accept Cash, Bank Transfer (BACS), and Debit/Credit Cards.
- Minimum Charge: A minimum call-out charge of £60 applies to all jobs to cover travel and equipment setup costs.
- Parking: The client is responsible for providing parking. If a permit is required or pay-and-display is the only option, these costs will be added to the invoice.
3. Service Limitations (Stains & Damage)
- Stain Removal: While we use advanced industry methods to remove stains, we cannot guarantee the removal of every stain. Stains that have been treated with shop-bought chemicals, heat, or have permanently dyed the carpet fibers may not be removable.
- Wear & Tear: Cleaning will not repair worn areas of carpet. Traffic lanes may look cleaner but will still show signs of wear.
- Shrinkage: While rare, we will test fibers before cleaning. We are not liable for shrinkage if the customer insists on a cleaning method contrary to our advice or the manufacturer's label.
4. Furniture Moving
- We are happy to move light furniture items (sofas, chairs, coffee tables).
- We do not move heavy items such as wardrobes, china cabinets, large TV units, or pianos.
- Please remove all breakable items (lamps, ornaments) from the room before we arrive. We are not liable for damage to items left on furniture that is being moved.
5. Drying Times
Drying times provided (e.g., 2-6 hours) are estimates based on average conditions. Actual drying time depends on humidity, airflow, heating, and the type of carpet. We advise keeping windows open where possible to aid drying.
6. Customer Satisfaction
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not happy with any part of the service:
- You must notify us within 24 hours of the service completion.
- We will return to re-clean the specific area free of charge.
- We do not offer cash refunds unless a re-clean fails to meet professional industry standards.
7. Utilities
The client agrees to provide access to hot water and electricity for the duration of the cleaning process. If these are not available, please notify us in advance so we can bring a generator (additional costs may apply).
